Tui is offering free Covid-19 testing kits to customers who make package holiday bookings to Saint Lucia in the Caribbean.
The promotion is available for bookings made on or after 22 October for departures before 30 April 2021 – bookings must also be made at least eight days before departure to allow time for the kits to be sent out and then back to the lab for testing.
Kits will be available for all members of the travelling party who need them for entry into Saint Lucia and will be supplied by Tui’s preferred supplier Randox. After booking, customers will receive a voucher code to order the required tests at least four weeks before their holiday.
Saint Lucia requires all UK visitors aged five and over to supply a negative PCR Covid test taken no more than seven days before arrival, with the test results submitted by email before travel.
“While the testing kits are free for your booking, it’s still your responsibility to order the kits and to submit the results correctly,” said Tui in its guidance to customers.
“In the case that the entry requirements for Saint Lucia change, and testing before travel is no longer necessary, you won’t receive a code from us.”
Free testing kits are not available for customers who made their booking to Saint Lucia before 22 October. If clients lose or damage a testing kit, they will have to make their own new testing arrangements.
The promotion does not apply to flight-only and accommodation-only bookings but clients can buy tests at a discounted price through Tui.
